Frequently Asked Questions About Our Locations
Call OceanRock Health Now
Do I need to be enrolled in PHP or IOP to live in a supportive living home?
Yes, our supportive living homes are specifically designed to work in conjunction with our clinical levels of care. This ensures that every resident is actively working on their recovery and contributing to a safe, focused community of peers.
Does insurance cover supportive living homes?
Insurance covers your clinical treatment, not housing. Our admissions team can explain the cost of the home.
Can I live in a supportive living home if I am in Virtual IOP?
Yes, we offer the flexibility to reside in our supportive housing while you participate in our Virtual IOP program. This allows you to benefit from the stability of a substance – free home and transportation to local meetings while receiving your clinical support through our secure digital platform.
What if I do not want to be housed in a particular city?
We understand that certain cities or neighborhoods may be triggering for some individuals, so we honor client requests for specific housing locations to the best of our ability. When you call our admissions team, we can provide you with timelines regarding when a supportive living home in Tustin or elsewhere in Orange County will be available for you.
What if I don’t drive?
Our housing locations provide regular transportation to and from our main campus in Newport Beach for your daily clinical programming. We also assist with transportation for necessary errands and community activities, ensuring you can stay focused on your recovery without the stress of navigating Southern California traffic.
Is there psychiatric care available at each location?
While your clinical sessions take place at our main campus or virtually, our entire medical team – including our medical director – provides oversight for residents at all our locations. We coordinate referrals for doctors’ visits or blood work if you have physical health concerns that need attention during your stay.
How long can I stay in supportive housing?
The duration of your stay depends on your clinical needs and insurance authorization, but many residents stay between 15 and 90 days. Because we believe the brain requires time to heal, we often recommend a step – down process where you continue therapy while transitioning back to independent living.
Are the facilities accredited by the Joint Commission?
Yes, OceanRock Health is proudly accredited by The Joint Commission, which signifies that our locations and programs meet the highest national standards for safety and quality of care. This accreditation reflects our commitment to excellence in both addiction and mental health treatment.
Can I continue to work while living in your housing?
If you need to keep working, PHP, evening IOP, or Virtual IOP may be a better fit.
What kind of community activities are offered at these locations?
Our properties are very active in the community, and we support clients as they return to normal life by participating in local outings. These may include weekly trips to movies, local parks, or the beach, helping you build healthy habits that support long – term wellness.
